Sharony Green considers herself a storyteller who writes and makes art across genres. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida, with roots in the American South and the Bahamas.  Her published writings include The Chase and Ruins: Zora Neale Hurston in Honduras (John Hopkins University Press, 2023) and the forthcoming full collection of poetry A Psalm for Cottondale (University of Alabama Press).
